I swore off spending on cheap thrills a few months ago, but this is NOT a hypocritical post because, while cheap, this dress is amazing. I refer to the ASOS skater dress with scalloped back, $26 down from $56, available in black, watermelon and green apple. I have no idea why it hasn’t sold out yet, but most sizes are still available!
This dress is the definition of cuteness. Well, cute but not too cute, if you know what I mean. I love it. Demure crew neckline to the front, gorgeous scalloped bareness to the back, and a simple, flattering cut. The material is polyester, but in a good way- the cool, quick drying kind which I think will stand up well in the wash.
I just wish it came in versions other than green and watermelon- both of which don’t suit me at all- so I could buy more colours.
If you love scallops and backlessness as I do, for the love of all that is bargain summer goodness, get yourself one of these dresses!
PS, I should probably mention that they run a little big, especially if you have a small waist. I’m usually an 8 but the dress in this picture is a 6 and it was perfect.
