I find this skirt (specifically, the “Seventh Wonderland Amadora silk beach skirt with cutout detail“) very exciting! I’m not at all sure why any sensible lady would want to wear a $365 pure silk skirt to the beach, but they’ve managed to take a below-knee-length and an A-line cut (not the most provocative of silhouettes at the best of times) and somehow produce something that invokes the words “sexy” and “contemporary”.
I can imagine wearing this with a black, well cut cashmere singlet (like the Topshop boutique version), a statement necklace, some dark wedges and a tan; the black would glare through the triangular holes and look really striking. A great ‘dressy’ summer holiday outfit or meet-the-parents number; demure but edgy!
