I’ve been looking for a nice chunky knit in something other than black for a long time, and finally I’ve found it in the American Apparel fisherman jumper at ASOS. It’s not cheap- £66. However it only takes one glance at the lovely, durable pure cotton knit fabric to know that this piece will stand the test of time.
Usually the ASOS models make me angry because they always manage to pull off slouchy and British-cool, whereas I can’t, at all. But I ordered the jumper anyway and absolutely love it. I reckon it will look brilliant with tights and boots for winter, as well as being light enough to pull of a trans-seasonal shorts and ankle boots combo. And it’s so warm! I keep trying it on hoping for a day cool enough to wear it, but no luck yet.
PS, bad lighting in my bathroom today. The color is better represented in the ASOS pic.
