This top (the ASOS blouse with V neck and concealed placket) has had me undecided for days!
Pros- Lovely, deep, rich plum colour and sleek design. Looks lovely against pale skin and brown hair, but I can imagine it would be flattering for blondes, too. The neckline is deep enough to show a bit of your bra if you don’t have a big bust- I’m not sure if this is a pro or a con actually, but it looks great with one of those soft bras underneath that are made for show- like this one from Topshop, which I think would be a crime not to show off under a sneaky low cut blouse. Probably not a safe look for the office, though.
Cons- Synthetic feeling material (viscose). It feels quite pleasant on, but I wouldn’t want to be walking around on a sunny day in it, because the material doesn’t really breathe. Also, surprisingly for a synthetic material, it crinkles easily. Not sure yet if this is going to be a keeper, but I’m leaning towards holding out for something with a similar cut and more breathable material.
I really wanted to buy this shirt but in the grey tone (unfortunately, they don’t sell my size anymore) ..thanks for your comment..I was talso a little sceptical about the neckline. It looks deep.
