Because the weather is miserable here in Perth I’ve developed a real love of baggy textured stitch jumpers which I think is for the long haul. It started with my American Apparel Knit, progressed to the Cheap Monday fine gauge knit in two colours, and now this Topshop jumper in “Textured stitch,” £36! It wasn’t on sale but I did reuse my 10% off Topshop code, which saved me a little bit.
Anyway, the jumper. It’s fantastic. I’ve been burned by this kind of shade before- you know, the ‘khakis’ and ‘mustard yellows’ that look good on screen but look a lot like pneumonia in real life. This jumper is true to colour, beautifully soft and luxuriously warm. Also, the picture doesn’t really show it properly but the neckline is quite a flattering shape- a little more open to the sides than the American Apparel and Cheap Monday versions, which I like a lot. The former jumpers I really have to pull my head through, whereas this one just slips right on. Much better for fancy hairdos and such.
One drawback which I have to apologise for; as I write this colour is unavailable at Topshop (International deliveries take forever to Perth and they’re often sold out of my orders by the time they arrive!), but they do still have a bubblegum pink version. I’m hoping this will become one of Topshop’s classic pieces that they bring out in different colours each season!

Love this! Got one just like this, but in grey.
Yeah I’m still in love with mine too! Just noticed they have it in a beautiful burgundy/aubergine colour now… not good… got to stop buying jumpers!!
